The solo exhibition "Handsome Dresses" by Orit Freilich, curated by Inbal Ben Yaakov, offers a renewed observation of visual codes familiar to Jewish clothing traditions. At the intersection of holiness and fashion, tradition and innovation, and rigid gender identity and contemporary fluidity, Freilich’s exhibition unfolds. Created as part of a decade-long interdisciplinary project, it reexamines the known and familiar while breaking boundaries between masculinity and femininity, Jewish and non-Jewish, monochrome and colorful, old and new, and everyday clothing and art
